Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

The FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is a national organization on school campuses and in college and professional sports. Howard High's chapter, the Howard High Huddle, was started this year and met on Wednesday mornings at 6:45 a.m. It is a school sanctioned club but not school sponsored and is open to all students. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. This year we've sponsored a laser tag night at XP Laser Plus, provided opportunities for attendance at leadership and sports camps, and provided snack bars for winter athletes. This summer our students will be teaching at Covenant Park sports camps and we are planning the Howard High Relay for Life and a soccer night at the Soccer Dome II. The FCA web site (www.fca.org) provides information about the FCA mission and the many wonderful programs made available for group members. Thank you to the many Howard students whose devotion makes the group a successful service organization for our community.
